My paint chip repair job turned out better than I expected. Being a paint repair novice I took on the job with some trepidation. Thankfully my chip was on the hood edge near the wind shield. The chip was about .75 inches long. I cleaned and prepped the area as directed. I took my time using the primer. Then applied the base coat one layer at a time. Then applied the clear coat. I probably took 4 hours to finish the job. Don't rush it. I'm pleased with the final result.
