Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 Kia K-Series is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Charles J, owner of a 2002 Kia Rio from Plainfield, IL

I had about 14 places on my KIA which is a 2000 that needed touch up. I bout one bottle each of the primer, paint and clear coat and just followed your instructions from the web site. I did them all in one day and did use a 1500 sand sheet to smooth out the rough spots after each coat. I was amazed that you could do all this with just waiting minutes between coats. I put 2 coats of primer in several bad spots and used 3 coats of paint and 3 clear coats. I even had 2 scratches which I had to put several coats of paint on to fill them. I'm 100% sold on your products. Thanks, Chuck

Steve S, owner of a 2002 Kia Rio from Grayslake, IL

I recently repaired rocker panel rust on my green 2002 Kia. I was a little concerned when I first applied the paint, because it looked more grey than green when wet. But once it dried, the color match was very good. When I added two coats of clear coat, the repair blended right in. I am very happy with the results and would recommend Automotive Touchup products to my friends.
