CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2006 Jaguar X Type, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Jaguar paint code locations.

Did you choose the wrong vehicle model?

Did you choose the wrong model? How about the 2006 Jaguar Daimler Saloon, E-Pace, F Pace, F Type, F-Pace, I-Pace, S Type, XE, XF, XJ, XK, XK8, or XS?  If you're still not sure, take a look at our All 2006 Jaguar Models page.  Or, just go to our page dedicated to Jaguar Touch Up Paint

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2006 Jaguar X Type is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Richard H, owner of a 2006 Jaguar X Type from Berlin, VT

When I send an email I always receive an answer within 24 hours which I appreciate. Their products are spot on. The color match for my Jaguar was spot on! Thanks Richard Hinchliffe

Zelda Zoink, owner of a 2006 Jaguar X Type from New Bedford

Thank You Automotive Touch-Up for existing out there in a watered down market of semi-par consumer based self repair automotive needs. I searched tirelessly for an independent company that would provide an easy, accessible yet quality product to repair some deep chips on my Jaguar. I am absolutely more than satisfied with your service and product. Thank You for such a simple and informative Web-site that allowed me to navigate my way through the exact items that I needed. Thank You for custom mixing my beautiful quality paint. Thank You for keeping the price at a place where at home users can afford. Your shipping service was wonderful as well, this whole process was a great experience! You guys are spot on!

Abelardo P, owner of a 2006 Jaguar X Type from Albuquerque, NM

The paint was excellent. Great match now for my next project.

William Johnson, owner of a 2006 Jaguar X Type from Bloomfield, NJ

I keep coming back because I know I will not be disappointed. I am very particular about my cars (ok, anal) and will not just settle for less than the best. Thanks for what you do!

William B, owner of a 2006 Jaguar X Type from Sparks, NV

The paint matched exactly the same as the original, well yours is better because mine is a little faded. I need enough for the whole car. I love it, thanks William

LJH, owner of a 2006 Jaguar X Type from VA

Greetings! Thanks for the easy data access to find my Jag's correct color. The HGZ, after the 1957 matched the numbers on my door panel. So, then I knew NOT to buy the slightly different HGD color. Your paint sample covered the ugly "chip" from gravel ding perfectly. Instructions were clear/easy & clear coat blended, too. --Sincerely, LJH

Elizabeth T, owner of a 2006 Jaguar X Type from Fleming Island, FL

I have to echo one of the other comments. "Thanks for the great match! Can't even tell where the old paint meets the new paint. Fantastic job" It's the second time I've had to repair a wheel well because of parking lot incidents which I find when I return to my car. Now, both front wells match, but no one can tell except me.
