My wife has left her Jaguar Xtype 3.0 outside uncovered in her employer's parking lot the last 14 Arizona summers! The beautiful Carnival Red body color was now faded and blotchy on top making it almost embarrassing to drive. Instead of paying someone $1500 to paint the top of a 15 year old car, I spent less than $150 using AutoTouchups basecoat and clearcoat spray cans to paint it myself. The smaller areas like the trunk and side mirrors are a perfect match. The hood and roof are close , but don't have the same shine as the side of the car. Most people could never tell the difference, especially since it is so common in the desert. I highly recommend AutomotiveTouchup and their products. They also have highly informative DIY videos.

After researching several places for the paint needed to repair a dent in my front right fender, I finally found a perfect match through AutomotiveTouchup. When ordering the paint, I was given the info on how they would mix the exact color and instructions for using. Also once putting the clear coat on, the dent was not seen at all. I received the paint and clear coat in small bottles with small brush cap applicator. I ordered two additional small brush tip applicators for a couple of minor dents. I was reluctant about using the paint for small door dents and a bumper scratch. After the first use, I was able to cover all other dents. What a nice surprise that after 12 years the paint on my car had not faded to a degree that it couldn't be matched. Even though the car has been housed, paint with time still fades. I would recommend AutomotiveTouchup to anyone.

The process was easy and the products performed as promised. I had two rust spots on the side fender and now they are gone. My only disappointment is that you can tell where it was touched up even though the color match was perfect. I just bought the used 2002 Jaguar S type. There were a few scratches (and more found later) that I wanted to repair. The paint was a perfect match! I have to look carefully to find where I made the repairs. I now have a repair kit for parking lot nicks and stone nicks. Best cosmetic investment!

The true test of a quality touch up paint is for the paint to perfectly match the color and sheen of the cars original factory paint job. If you do a touch up on a painted surface that's hidden form sun and harsh elements (a door jamb comes to mind) you'll see how accurate or inaccurate the color and sheen of a touch up paint really is. Needless to say, your product passed perfectly.

I didn't have any major marks on my car, but several small rock chips and that type of damage. The products worked very well. I made sure to follow the directions and allow the primer to dry before applying the paint and then waited for the paint to dry before I applied the clear coat. I am very happy with the results but am hopeful that I don't have to use the product frequently. I try to take very good care of my car but there are people out there that don't seem to mind banging their door into the side of mine. I've also recommended the products to Mustang owner friend. Love the product. Most of the repair jobs that I have done look absolutely professional. I live in the snow and salted road zone, have several automobiles some of which are getting a bit long in the tooth, and consequently have to deal with rust spots which require paint touch-up. I usually order a small bottle of Touch Up for the new car and Aerosol basecoat and clearcoat for the older vehicles. I really believe that the product adds years of life for these cars. I'd also like to mention that the customer service is excellent.
