With very little painting experience and a few you tube videos I attempted to fix an eroding and peeling clear coat problem on my 97' Jag. After sanding, priming and applying 4 cans of paint and three cans of clear the results are better than I expected. The color difference is almost undetectable and the finish after removing the orange peel,polishing and waxing is all that could be desired. The best part, other than the experience is that it only cost me a little more than $100 dollars.

Excellent color match. Spray width was a little to wide. Would have been good for larger area. My touchup was for a small area and a smaller spray pattern would have been better.

Very impressed with your paints. Had anticipated taking my XJ6 to a body shop for respray of sunroof and trunk lid. Amazed that it could be done with aerosol spray. Color match was perfect.
I would have been helped by a demonstration video of clear coat application. The online paint videos showed a quick stroke application which after repeated attempts left a dull clear coat finish. Tried it again with very slow strokes and the result was greatly improved.
Ended up with 3 unused paint cans as your estimate far exceeded the amount required.
Overall a good experience and an encouragement to do it myself.
