The touch up paint was perfect! I had accidentally cut a small piece out of my spoiler but the pair of scissors when I was taking it out of the box. when I ordered the touch up paint, it came to me within a week. After I installed the spoiler I used about three coats of the touch up paint and then another three coats of clear coat, and it looks great! You have to know exactly where to look to find the nick. Hopefully I don't create another reason to use the paint, but if I do I'm in good hands.

First of all, I am an amateur when it comes to refinishing a car. I have ordered spray cans of the Infiniti K51 color and have had a perfect match after application. I have made mistakes when buffing everything out and had to redo some of the work but it was my fault and not the fault of the paint. The good thing is that I've learned a lot through the process. I have a 2008 Infiniti that is in excellent condition. Unfortunately I didn't realize that I hadn't parked all the way into my garage a couple of weeks ago and when I tried closing the garage door, the bottom lip got hung on the rear bumper. I kept cycling the door open/close a couple of times before I realized what the issue was and subsequent damage. I thought I try repairing it myself rather than the $600-$700 for the body shop. My colleagues at work thought I was nuts and said I should spend the money and do it right. Anyway, I decided to give it a try. I spent the time prepping the surface really well then took a deep breath as I applied the first application of paint. This is my first paint job on a car but seen several shows on TV on car repairs so I was somewhat familiar on how to feather paint in. After 4 coats and 3 hours of dry time, I proceeded with the clear coat. I would have to say that the match was perfect. No streaks or runs either. I should have taken pictures but didn't cross my mind.

The paint color match was perfect! It's best to find a less visible touch-up to work on first to get the feel for how the applicator works but once you get that down the process is very simple.
