CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1991 Infiniti Q50, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for the Infiniti paint code location chart. Most Infinity cars and SUVs have a three digit paint code which can consist of numbers and letters. Sometimes a three digit paint code is followed by a space and a fourth number or letter. The three closer together is the paint code.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1991 Infiniti Q50 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Randy M, owner of a 1991 Infiniti Q45 from Kerrville, TX

All I can say is "wow." Your products exceeded my expectations. I have an old car that has nice paint, except for a quarter-sized rust spot that appeared on the right rear door with total loss of paint surrounding the spot. It was a real eyesore. I was thinking about having body work done, but didn't want to spend the money on a pro shop. I thought, "what the heck, worst case scenario is I have to get it painted anyway." For about a hundred bucks, I sanded out the spot, repaired it with Bondo, sanded, and then painted using spray can paint. The match was nearly perfect. If you don't know it's been painted, you would not notice it. The rust spot drew your eyes to the bad part. Now it's gone. I saved a ton, and got results many times the value of what I spent. Kudos to you. Randy

Thomas R, owner of a 2012 Infiniti QX56 from Fayetteville, NC

Scraped against garage door frame passenger side of our QX-56. Ordered adhesion promoter, base coat K51, sandable primer. Everything worked good. Sandable primer seemed a little old, had to shake it for about 10 minutes before I got the ball to move. Color match was good. Forgot to order clear, but find some locally. Its not paint shop detailed, but if you didn't know where the damage was you never see it. Good match
