CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2017 Hyundai Ioniq 6, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for the Hyundai paint code location chart.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2017 Hyundai Ioniq 6 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Michele P, owner of a 2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe from New Port Richey, FL

Seemed to do good I put in underneath the front spoiler to hide a big scratch that you could see from a distance. It was a hard spot to spray so the first shot it looked a little pink but after the second and third it looked fine need to do a few more ..

Thomas G, owner of a 2016 Hyundai Accent from Bergenfield, NJ

Car appearance greatly improved. This is the first time I sanded rust, applied some bondo to holes, applied primer, paint, and clear coat. A number of things I will do better the next time I do this type of work. The paint provided matched the existing color. By doing the work myself I noticed that horizontal surfaces and vertical surfaces of existing car do not exactly match in color; but would never be noticed unless I was trying to match the colors. In short, the improved quality was limited by my ability and patience rather than the product. I was very pleased with the product. Tracking of package was mostly non existent.
