CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2016 Hyundai Sportage, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for the Hyundai paint code location chart.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2016 Hyundai Sportage is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Alexander T, owner of a 2015 Hyundai Accent from Bethlehem, PA

I recently had the opportunity to use the paint and clear coat I purchased. It performed as described. I was pleased with the fast drying time. The color was a great match as well.

Robert L, owner of a 2015 Hyundai Azera from Orlando, FL

AutomotiveTouchup matched my car's paint exactly. I was quite happy with the 2 oz bottles of Primer, Clear coat, and rubbing compound. I should have bought the 1500 grade sandpaper as well, as the finial finish was rougher than planned. While the paint did cover the scratches and chips adequately, you can still see the imprints of the damage. Honestly, I don't believe the sandpaper will solve this problem to my complete satisfaction. At some time in the future the entire area will have to be sanded and repainted to blend in with the general area. However, for the time being it looks so much better than it did before.
