CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Hyundai Tucson, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for the Hyundai paint code location chart.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2005 Hyundai Tucson is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Elated Customer, owner of a 2005 Hyundai Tucson

I have ordered paint twice now for two different vehicles, one is ten years old and the other is 23 years old, both were perfect matches, thanks for the excellent product. Dave, Streator Ill

Albert F, owner of a 2005 Hyundai Tucson from Lavale , MD

Phoned a few weeks ahead to make sure I knew what to order in terms of base-coat/color and primer. Received very good guidance. Once the weather began to warm, I ordered. Received exactly what I ordered. Followed the directions on a nice warm day on my 2005 Hyundai Tucson. Quick and easy, even for an idiot like me when it comes to such things. Very pleased with the results. It was fun and satisfying to know I could do this without my wife laughing at me afterwards. ALF - western Maryland

Fred Cockfield, owner of a 2005 Hyundai Tucson from Bothell, WA

Thanks for doing such a great job with the paint match on my 2005 Hyundai Tucson. I could not find a color match locally for Sahara Silver Metallic YK, but you guys got it to me – and fast. I used the aerosol spray paint to prep a replacement power mirror for the passenger side and the touchup paint for some long-neglected scratch repairs. Everything in my order fit the bill perfectly. I will be back! All the best, Fred Cockfield

Alfred S, owner of a 2005 Hyundai Tucson from Penfield, NY

The paint was easy to apply and it was quick-drying, so I could sand it lightly in a couple areas. It was just a bit darker, but that could be due to the original paint fading. It is a 2005 vehicle.
