My 2013 Honda Pilot was recently damaged as a results of branches being blown from trees along the South Carolina coast just ahead of one of this summer's hurricanes. I used your base coat (Honda R529P, Dark Cherry ) spray can application on my 2013 Pilot's rear bumper cover. Two areas had received scuffs and scratches from parking lot interactions. Following directions, I waited for the right weather and the results are pretty terrific. I'd priced out this job at my body shop and it was over 400 (mostly labor to remove and replace the bumper cover). He suggested I DIY and gave me an idea how to get it done. Mostly, he was not wanting to take my money knowing that the work would have to be re-accomplished in short order when another parking lot interaction took place, as they always seem to.
Bottom line: I am very pleased with the color match and the metallic sparkle your product provided. After several light coats on the two areas, totaling about 4 sq ft, I have enough left over for a very small touch up, if needed. My only regret is that, in ordering the base coat, I didnt think to get a can of clear coat as well (this is indeed my first time in this rodeo). Had to do run out and get it while the final base coat was drying, but the weather held and it's all good.
