This is the first time I've ever tried using a spray can for any significant (hood and rear quarter panel) body work. The front of the hood had rust holes clear thru, there was surface rust on the rear quarter panel . I repaired the holes and rust and after much sanding primed - sanded, sprayed the color sanded and finished it using the 2k clear coat - buffed. I did all the work in my residential garage. I have to say, the results look better than the rest of the car (1999 honda accord - 200k miles). I got all the supplies from Automotive Touch up - paint, primer and clear coat, as well as the respirator, spray can trigger (big help!!) and prep solvent. I used more product (spray paint - color) than is originally estimated so had to place a second order but no problems. The paint match was virtually perfect, a touch darker than the faded original paint, but blended nicely. Finish is flawless. I would have to say I would not have had better results using professional equipment. (Air compressor and spray gun)
You certainly have to be patient with both the application and the sanding, preserver and you will have great results like I did.

Very good color match (even for 15 year old car)-color blend is transparent with the rest of vehicle.
Aerosol can was very easy to use- good spray quality and anti-clog valve. I've used this brand on other vehicles in the past with similar results.
