I recently painted the hood, bumper cover and front fenders on a little CRX I bought as a project car. I had never done any automotive painting, but did watch a lot of videos and researched the topic for a couple of weeks before I got started. I wanted to do the bumper cover with rattle cans to see how it would turn out. I had a problem with the 3 cans I ordered, and the customer service rep was extremely helpful and sent replacement cans. The new cans worked great, and the final product looks amazing. I shot the hood and fenders with a Harbor Freight (Chicago Brand) HVLP electric paint sprayer using the ready to spray quart of paint. The color match is perfect and the paint looks fantastic. I finished everything with the 2K clearcoat rattle cans. I am extremely pleased with my experience and will be back to purchase more paint when I'm ready to shoot the rest of the car.
