Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1989 Honda Xr-V is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Russ T, owner of a 1990 Honda Civic from Watsonville, CA

Very quick delivery & a great product. I'm very pleased.

Jonathan W, owner of a 1990 Honda CRX from Dallas, TX

After trying out the color-matched aerosol paint I got from automotivetouchup.com, I was surprised at how well the color matched! I was painting my rear bumper after someone hit and damaged it, and I first repaired the tear and the dent, then sanded it down and put adhesion promoter, primer, and then couple light coats of the color-matched spray paint, and didn't have enough clearcoat to finish with that, but the color was pretty much an "exact" match to my paint, which is weird, since my paint job is 11 years old! My car is a 1990 Honda CRX si, which was originally white, but after a wreck I had it repainted in 2003 by maaco, and picked a different color from a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta, which was an atlantic blue pearl. I definately plan on buying more of the color-matched aerosol spray paint along with primer, clearcoat from Automotivetouchup.com again soon so I can finish up my car.
