CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Gmc Lav, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Gmc Lav is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Rick A, owner of a 1999 GMC Yukon from Taylorsville, KY

I have an old Yukon that was peeling at the top of every door and above the front windshield I thought if I touch the paint up I could get more out of it when I got ready to sell it little did I know that your touch up paint match so well that people couldn't tell that I touched it up and now it looks so good I don't want to get rid of it. Thank you and I would recommend your touch up paint to anyone

Michael P, owner of a 1999 GMC Yukon from Belton, SC

Color matched metallic paint not only was very close match, but metallic laid out just like the original, too. 20 year old car, so you cannot expect a perfect match. Blending techniques would make it invisible, but I am just a hobbyist and have not learned that skill so far. Finish One clearcoat worked very well, too. Don’t worry if your clear ends up with orange peel. Simply color sand smooth and buff out to perfect results. Do not be afraid of edges when buffing, just slow your buffer speed way down and no problem.
