The color was a perfect match, which is difficult with metallic colors. However, my ‘pen’ had a malfunction. Just a couple of minutes in, the paint gushed from between the sides of the tip and the pen wall instead of absorbing through the tip. Fortunately, I was working on a vertical surface, so the excess landed on the driveway, and not the vehicle. This could likely be user error, although I wasn’t pressing hard. This is my second use of the product and I am very impressed with the match. This is 2 vehicles in a row that Duplicolor was unable to supply.

I've painted the bumper covers and new front spoiler on my '00 Miata, and most recently fender flares for my F-150. All were plastic or urethane using adhesion promoter followed by primer/sand, two color coats and three clear coats. I was particularly impressed with the match of the F-150 brown w/ heavy metallic - can't tell difference from factory finish. Fast turnaround. Like the quality spray nozzle on the cans. Do yourself a favor and don't skip clearing the nozzle upside down after use. I do that between coats as well.

Having just used the first application of Sterling Gray from a touch up bottle- it covered very well on the scratches a gravel truck on the bridge approach over the Mississippi as he passed east while I was westbound. Luckily it was very slow each way with 'turtles'. Second coat later and then clear coat will make it hard to detect. Fine match.

I have a 2009 Ford F150, and I'm not sure if you're like me, but I love my truck. I have always been a lover of cars and weekend projects, and this company have me another set of weapons in my weekend warrior arsenal. The paint, is an exact match, and with a truck that has seen a lot of work, my five year old baby needed quite a few touch ups; that being said, if you have the know how get your paint here right now! You can't beat the quality or the price, what would have cost me a couple thousand dollars in body work and paint, was reduced to about a hundred bucks with this paint and a bit of my labor. This is seriously quality product, for a great price.
