CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2007 Ford Futura, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for the Ford paint code location chart and paint code image example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2007 Ford Futura is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Rich H, owner of a 2006 Ford Expedition from Frederick, MD

My 2006 Expedition was experiencing Paint Blistering on the Tail Gate and Hood which are aluminum. The Dealership wanted $900 to repaint the entire liftgate. As the car is well worn and I wanted to limit my investment, I went with Automotive Touchup for options. I spent less that $100 on materials and one afternoon to effectively stop the blistering and restore a matching paint finish. I am a complete amateur at this but I got pretty good results. The paint was a 100% spot on match. The finish actually looks better than factory. The primer and gloss coats go on easy and dry quickly. The color coat had great coverage and dried easily. Best of all were the recommendations on refinishing from the web site which helped a great deal. In total I refinished about 18 square inches of surface around the gate window and license plate / gate handle position. Problem solved.

Gerald M, owner of a 2006 Ford Five Hundred from Wimberley, TX

We have a white car covering black plastic. Any nicks or scratches are very distinct blemishes. Your product, with multiple coats, hides those blemishes very discretely. Thanks!!
