Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2007 Ford Focus Cabrio is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Gary P, owner of a 2006 Ford Freestar from Phoenix, AZ

The color is a perfect match. However, the cans sprayed different patterns. I think it was the difference in pressure. I am a cabinet painter so I know the differences I saw. I should be able to go from can to can without no difference in pressure and pattern. To offset the potential problem, I bought a spray gun and ordered the product in pint and quart cans.
