Paint match is very good...only problem I experienced is rubbing out any height lines created by the clearcoat----sometimes (depending on the area sprayed) the clearcoat blends well---other times , some rubbing compound is needed to blend new paint to older paint----but I'm well satisfied with the color match---today's paints are very flat in nature---the clearcoat is the secret to disguising a good job and blending damaged areas to the original body color. UV light does lighten paint...even newer paint-

I had a 3" diameter rust patch under the roof rack of my Escape. I purchased primer, the DV color metallic green and clear coat. The primer covered the repaired area very well. It dried quickly and was easily sanded. Then I applied the color coat. I could not believe how the paint matched so well. I have done a bit of touch up and full paint jobs before, but have never had such a good match, particularly with metallics. The clear coat finished the repair and the car looks like new. The touch up paint for where I needed it just wasn't enough to cover the scratch properly but it did help at a few other spots I wasn't aware of. I will buy again from the site when I get the area prepped for another coat.

Two rust spots on a 2006 Ford Escape where the rear window closes left and right. A little sanding and two coats of touch up paint and walla invisible. Paint matches perfect. So I then thought what about the few scratches on the doors. I found that if I dabbed the included brush over the scratch and then lightly rubbed off the excess the scratch was actually invisible and the surrounding paint remained intact.

I purchased some aerosol spray paint for my 2006 Ford Escape. The color was perfectly matched, and I was able to spray over some areas of rust (on the top of my wheel well). It was bothering me that there was rust noticeable on my car, and I am not ready to purchase a new car yet! So.. I took a chance, sprayed the aerosol paint on... and it no longer shows! YA!
