I purchased adhesion promoter, harvest gold and clear coat for my 2002 Ford Ranger.
These products worked as advertised.
My project was small I was just painting two replacement plastic drip rail moldings.
I used 1 k grit sand paper to scuff the pieces, I applied the adhesion promoter then 4 light coats of the harvest gold and 3 wet coats of the clear.
In between coats I covered my painted pieces with a plastic tote leaving a small air gap.
I couldn't be happier the paint was a perfect match and perfectly smooth, no orange peel or other defects so my pieces did not require any type of polishing or buffing.
I will say the clear coat I received came without a ball bearing so I just shook the can for 10 minutes before application, while spraying the can spit once near the end of the third coat but it happened
While I had sprayed past my piece and didn't affect the finish.

It's been a long time since I've done any car painting and I was surprised that I was no longer able to buy paint locally, except those spray cans at the big auto parts store. The primer worked great, the basecoat was awesome, the problem was the clear coat. While laying down the second coat, about the middle of the fender it sputtered and left several small splatters. Laid down a third coat anyway and hope when it totally dries a good polishing will pull them out. Good job all in all. One thing though is lay down more passes of base than normal. It covers much nicer. Experienced this from the last time I purchased your products. Happy overall. Thanks, Arn.
