I have purchased automotive aerosol touch up paint from a local supplier in the past. The main reason was the ability to return it if it does not match and it was very expensive as well. I found AutomotiveTouchup by searching the internet and the pricing got my attention. I gave AutomotiveTouchup a shot and ordered a can of Ford G2 paint and a can of clear-coat. I couldn't be happier. The paint I received from AutomotiveTouchup was better than I was anticipating. Not only less expensive by almost 75% but it seemed easier to apply, less forgiving of runs, the metal flake was more the size of the factory paint and overall matched better than the local franchise paint shop. I had the same experience with the clear-coat from AutomotiveTouchup. Some of you might take this as a negative but the clear-coat was not as glossy. More than likely due to my experience with the other clear-coat and how easy it was to make it flow downhill. However, the clear-coat matched the clear-coat on the Excursion. I will be buffing out the entire vehicle when the weather gets warmer and will share my results. For now, I am eagerly waiting on the arrival of my Audi LY5Q touchup paint from AutomotiveTouchup. The paint match was good and delivery time was prompt...one concern is the washer with a hole in it that allows for a small hole to insert and remove brush to touch up problem areas...the smaller hole is much better than the whole open bottle...unfortunately in the three bottles I received the washer is stuck in the cap...have removed from cap and placed on bottle, but washer keeps being stuck in the cap...would be MUCH better if washer would stay on bottle to insert and remove brush to address touch up areas...
