My second experience with your products... The first was bumper touch-up on my 1993 Honda. This time I bought a new bumper and grille for my Ford Windstar and painted the whole thing with and single can of base and clear. The only problem came in the buff-out. I put on a little too much pressure and went through to the black plastic in one small spot on the bottom edge.
Thanks, Mike Smith

After purchasing touch up paint at Auto Zone skeptical to try again,( wrong color), but reading comments decided to try. Grateful I did, had to have body shop do hood after Auto Zone's awful un color match. The roof of the Van looks so much better, worth the extra do have correct match, would purchase again.

I don't have much to say. This was the first time I tried doing any type of body and paint work on a vehicle. I am very pleased of the color match and the finished product. Thank you.

Color was a great match and the project worked out well. Mine is an old Windstar, dating to 2000 - I've kept the motor running in great shape and it seems a shame to replace it just because it looks a little bad. My van developed some rust at the bottom 2" of the door; it's from hard winters here and all the salt that splashes up. A body repair shop first said they would do it for $1,100. I gulped and then said okay, we'll do it. Then they raised the price to $1,500. I gulped again. Then they said they wouldn't do it. I went to two other places, neither was willing to do the work. I'm doing it myself now for less than $300 all in, including some grinding tools, a light welder, bondo and your paint. And what I've done so far looks way better than the work they do. I would appreciate more instructions and tips - probably on the website. Best wishes.

I have a 2000 Ford Windstar. It was a used vehicle and the paint was beginning to come off the hood. Also after a winter in the rain of Seattle, I found the former owner must have used some type of carrier on the top which had deeply scratched the paint which was also beginning to peel and rust. When I took it to a local shop they wanted to charge me $1,000 and of course really wanted me to have the entire van painted. That was more than I could afford. I started searching the internet to see if there was some way I could do it myself. I went to dealership and they would only sell me a few ounces of paint in a little bottle for an outrageous price. Then I found Automotive Touch Up. With one can each of primer, based coat and top coat I was able to sand, repair and paint all the damage. I am thrilled with the results. It also turned into quite an event in the neighborhood. People walking by and neighbors stopped or came out to see what I was doing. Everyone was amazed at the results. I would certainly do this again and recommend it to others.
