The paint was chipping off the fuel door on my 1978 Ford LTD. I took the fuel door off the car, sanded it down, fresh primer, 3 coats of Automotive Touchup paint, and 3 coats of Automotive Touchup clear coat, and you can't tell it was ever repaired. This Touch Up paint went Way Beyond my Expectations. I'm dead Serious. This paint matched better than I could have Ever Imagined. I was honestly Shocked at how Perfect it matched. By the time I finished filling in all my scratches and dings, you couldn't tell where they were at all. That's how Perfect this stuff was.

Have used several colors now and all have been excellent matches to original classic car colors. I have used, touch up, spray, and now quart size paints, all have met expectation. I have also used their sandpaper, prep, masking take and all have been good. The only item that did not work as expected that I won't order again is the paint gun handle for rattle cans. That did not go well. I will continue to trust auto touch up with all of my classic car reprints and fixes. PK

What great paints and products you have. I have used your paints on 4 of our cars/trucks. 2010 Subaru, 2006 Mazda, 2004 dodge Ram and the latest a 1978 ranchero. Without question I had a 100% match on all but the ranchero. Not your fault at all, did not have a paint code so I have to guess what paint color I need. Tried 1 didn't match just ordered my second try. Without question you will be the place I go for all my touch up paints.

I ordered the smallest available touch up sample. About the size of a nail polish bottle I would guess. I ordered this sample for my 1978 Ford Bronco to see what the original color looked like. It took a while to get the sample but I'm sure it's a pain to mix such a small amount.
Good news is, when I've saved a bit more money, I'll be ordering a larger batch :). It might be in spray cans though. Either way, the paint came out good.

I received my order in a timely fashion, it was well boxed and arrived in good condition. I tested the paint on a piece of scrap metal, allowed it to dry and clear coated it, then compared it to my vehicle, the color on the vehicle is a hair darker than your product, but then it is a 1978 Ford vehicle, so I didn't expect an exact match. Other than that, the product is good quality and I would buy it again.

Paint matched perfectly, which amazed me since this is a 34 year old car. All of the so called parts stores which deal in paint said it was not a good number, even tho I copied it directly from the mfg. door label. With AutomotiveTouchup it was no problem.
