CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1929 Ford (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for the Ford paint code location chart and paint code image example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1929 Ford (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Norm S, owner of a 1929 Ford from Banks, OR

Auto My "model" might surprise you. The car is a 1929 Model "A". It is painted liquid yellow. This last summer on my way to a car show in Bend Oregon I took a rock in the windshield. When I took the windshield (in the frame) to have it repaired I noticed small bubbles in the paint. Sure enough RUST. The frame needed to be redone. Taking it to a body shop to have it sanded and painted was too expensive. I sanded and treated the rust with Extend and then used your primer, paint, and clear coat. NOW I'm ready for more car shows or a few trips to the local wineries. The paint will come in handy as I also have a Mini in liquid yellow. I believe it is the same color as BMWs dakar yellow. The windshield frame looks great and I did it myself. Norm

Bob J, owner of a 1930 Ford from Poughkeepsie, NY

Completely satisfied with the matching of the color after purchase of paint to match color on a 1930 Ford Street Rod. Can hardly see the difference in color between the old and new. Plan to buy another can for future touchup if needed.

John H, owner of a 1971 Ford from Fort Worth, TX

I questioned the color but the information I received was correct. The color matched my 71 Mustang Mach 1.
