CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2023 Dodge Charger, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. 2007 and newer Dodge models usually have the paint code in the door jamb. Most paint codes are three digits long and start with a P or Q and contains letters and/or numbers. Click here for more Dodge paint code locations and paint code images.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2023 Dodge Charger is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

The shipping was very quick and the color matched perfectly. I was very happy with the results!

Alex K, owner of a 2022 Dodge Ram Pickup from Rensselaer, NY

Purchased total Qty of (7) 12 oz. aerosol cans of Electric Pearl Blue, Code AB5, for 2022 Dodge Ram pickup. The paint was for a paint job on a '99 Honda Valkyrie Interstate so I wasn't trying to color match to an existing vehicle. The blue basecoat worked well. I stripped each piece off the bike, primed, wet sanded to 600, then 3-4 coats of base. Did some custom paint work on the fairing & tank directly over the base color. Then sealed all with about 5 coats of Limco Supreme clear. Great results. Any minor flaws were do to me, not the paint from Automotive Touch Up. Aerosol cans make for an easy way to buy just how much paint you need for a small job. You can give any left over to the customer to touch up again if they ever need. Some of the aerosol spray nozzles sprayed than others. I would keep a rag with you to wipe the nozzle as you go to avoid accidental spatter, especially if you're doing a fine metallic color. 7 cans were enough to do front fender, rear fender, both hard bags & lids, 2 side battery covers, tank, 2 radiator pods, and batwing fairing.
