I ordered the paint pens to cover a 2' long scratch. The basecoat covered really well. However, the clear coat would not lay down and, in fact, it's tip kept scratching the basecoat off in places. This was after waiting 2 days to apply the base. I suspect that using the brush in a 2-ounce bottle would have been a better choice, at least for the clear coat.

I will never buy touch up paint from any where else, I bought PWT color code for 2011 Dodge Ram 1500, and also pewter for 2000 GMC Sierra SL, both colors were spot on, did not have to blend either one, could not be happier with this product, these were the two ounce bottles that I bought with a bottle of the clear. I have also bought their spray paint for 2000 Lincoln LS with pearl white color, this was also very easy and the color was spot on, so either way you go you can not lose. Great product for the price..thank you Automotive Touchup you truly are the best in your class!

I worked with color (matching, measuring and adjustment)for 13 years, I also made car paint for a leading manufacturer. I have found that Automotive Touchup to be the best color match and the best paint I have found. I have used their paint for '98 Ram Blue, '95 Miata Merlot, '11 Ram Bright Silver, '09 Bullitt Mustang Green.

So, I did a test spray tonight, no prep, barely cleaned with a dirty microfiber towel on the replacement bumper project I am working on at the moment. Note: This is just a test to see how the product looks / works / etc.! I know what to do for proper paint prep, don't judge a test! :-)
I can't be happier. The color will be as close as if I took the truck to a pro painter instead of a home garage hack like myself. The product quality is top notch. Once the project is complete, I will post a final review, but for once I am betting I have a 100% positive experience with an online product. Except made by humans that know what they are doing!

Excellent experience with you and your product. Purchased newer RAM pu in January, and wanted a "UNIQUE" bug shield for it. Not much, in color choices out there. Decided to buy a CLEAR shield and paint it from the back side. This is where your paint came in. The color was an exact MATCH, everyone wants to know where I purchased a Bug Deflector, the same color as my truck. All I can tell them is I had help with your paint.

Excellent product!
My Ram is Brightwater Blue pearl and the color was matched perfectly, added the clear coat with a bit of water sanding and near perfect job for less than $20.00.
Will definitely be back if needed.

The paint was a perfect match. The clear coat was a little shiny until I rubbed
it out with rubbing compound. My advise is to follow the directions for the product.
