I recently purchased a can of spray paint for my beat up 98 Dodge Caravan. It is so old, the local auto parts stores didn't even have the teal color on their touch up paint charts. I did very little preparation work before using the paint. When I was done painting I was pleasantly surprised how good it looked, in spite of my lack of patience and skill. Had no intention of repainting the entire car since its two previous owners kept its dark green color in excellent condition. But time alone will eventually take a toll on a few areas at least, like it did to my 28 yr. old car. I had previous restoration experience with a 40 yr. old pickup the year before so was not intimidated by the small task at hand. Ordered the spray can package twice after a small bottle sampling kit the year before. Was so happy with the matching results that I ordered the second spray can package to expand the repainting areas. You get everything you want or need in these packages. You don't have to include everything they suggest. I did with the first one and had enough primer left over to only order another can of base and clear coat, which arrived in less than a week. So, they did a very nice job matching the color and including everything, including sandpaper and such, to get the job at hand finished in a professional manner.
