CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1994 Dodge Ram Pickup, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. 2007 and newer Dodge models usually have the paint code in the door jamb. Most paint codes are three digits long and start with a P or Q and contains letters and/or numbers. Click here for more Dodge paint code locations and paint code images.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1994 Dodge Ram Pickup is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Lannes, owner of a 1995 Dodge Intrepid from Bowling Green, Ky

This was the second time I had to order paint and clear coat. I cleaned the car and sanded the spots to be painted. The paint matched so well I could have just used the paint alone. I let it dry and sprayed the clear coat on. I did 2 coats and just like magic. The color started looking better and better. By the next morning there was a great shine on the bummers and a sport on the door. For a car that is almost 21 years old I couldn't ask for the look to be better. I'm sure a profession painter could make it look like a factory job but just for a weekend doer I was well pleased. As the old saying goes, it is hard to see flaws on a moving car. Thank you.

James J, owner of a 1995 Dodge Full Pickup from Land O Lakes, FL

I recently ordered your product and was very pleased as usual. The basecoat goes on perfectly as does the clear coat. My only complaint is as follows. Your product is acrylic lacquer and comes in a 12oz can for about $20. Ordering 6 cans would give me 72oz of color for about $120, or about $1.67 per oz. If I purchase Duplicolor in 8oz cans, the same quantity is about $1 per oz. Or $72. I will add that your product is a very good quality and goes on well and produces excellent results. Perhaps the next time I purchase 6 cans of basecoat you could provide a 10-20% discount for the higher quantity. Other than that I will continue to buy from you as needed. [ATU Note: Our paint cans are custom made per order, while Duplicolor is made in very large batches. On cost per clearcoat or primer can, our price is better.]
