CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1990 Daihatsu Coo, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Most Daihatsu paint codes are located on the center or passenger side of the firewall. Click here for a Daihatsu paint code location chart.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1990 Daihatsu Coo is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Mark P, owner of a 1979 Mercedes-Benz SL Class from Washington, IN

The products are of high quality, the paint matches well and the clear coat shines like it should!

Tab B, owner of a 2012 Dodge Ram from Millersburg, PA

I performed some minor rust repairs on both sides of the box on my 2012 Ram. I purchased 12 ounce spray cans of the correct paint to match the original paint of the truck. The paint code was PJA Tequila Sunrise Pearl. I topped it off with SprayMax 2K Urethane Clearcoat. The paint went on smoothly. The metallic laid down flat as it should and the Pearl was exactly as the factory applied paint. The Clearcoat was smooth, hard and glossy. I'm very happy with the results. I've used products from AutomotiveTouchup previously and will continue to use their products as need arises in the future.
