Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1998 Chrysler New Yorker is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Harry Bittle, owner of a 1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible from Gibsonia, PA

My Grand Daughter's Chrysler convertible had massive paint failure on the hood and rear bumper, peeling of clear off of color-coat. I did the repair. The color match for the color coat you supplied was outstanding. The clear seemed easy enough to apply but dried with a great deal of orange-peel, (not so appealing). The overall appearance was a fantastic upgrade from the pre-repair appearance. I highly recommend your combination to others. (Perhaps; however, there should be some advise in a video on how to get the top coat clear to look smooth like the original paint job.

Steve T, owner of a 1999 Chrysler 300M from Minneapolis, MN

I had gotten your color matched paint and clearcoat for my daughters 1999 Chrysler 300m. I do have to say the paint and the clear coat was easy to work with and was a dead on match. I have used a different product in the past and was not as easy to work with nor was the color as close. I would recommend this product to anyone. Thanks, Steve T.
