To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. Color matches perfect. Only problem was using the clear coat, need to apply it very gently because pressing to hard takes the color coat off. That should be emphasized in your instructions. Very satisfied with the product. [ATU Note: touch up brush/pen benefits from lighter coats and longer times between coats. Aerosol benefits from heavier wet coats and a lot of dry time between coats. In both products applying 2 wet coats back to back will certainly smear the paint or shift the color.]
