CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2015 Chevrolet Camaro, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. The spot I touched up still needs to be wet sanded and buffed slightly to blend it with the rest of the paint but the paint appears to be an exact match to the glossy black of my Camaro. Its to bad the dealership scratched it so badly while washing it after they re-painted the door they messed up by smashing it into the side of a white truck LOL. Anyway I didn't want to take it back there after that escapade so I decided it would be best to take car of it myself. I have a guy that does detail work for me and he is helping me make sure its done right since this is the first time I've ever used touch-up paint. After it is blended I doubt I'll even notice its there. The guy at the detail shop was impressed himself with the quality and simplicity of the paint pens and clear coat.
