CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2014 Chevrolet S10, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2014 Chevrolet S10 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

David N, owner of a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse from Middletown, DE

The products I purchase from Automotive Touchup are fantastic! The quality and color match is spot on with the factory paint. I purchased paint for 2 different vehicles from 2 different manufacturers and it was perfect and extremely easy to use. I have been able to achieve results that I never dreamed possible for a DIYer.

Bill W, owner of a 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche from GA

The Avalanche with it's tri color application case serious doubt that it could be matched to the White Diamond coloration. But I gave the folks at AutomotiveTouchup a chance. Mind you I am a "Colorist" by trade and was part of a team that developed one of the first Color matching devices using the tri-stimulus values. The package arrive with all the necessary components. Using their instructions I was amazed at how well the application went. The match was so good I decided to paint the Air Dam on the front end of the car it was Black and plastic. Again I was amazed, perfect match ..again following instructions..no shortcuts... Again being a colorist. I hooked up a Colorimeter which measures color differences. Results between the Factory Paint & AutomotiveTouchup was deemed ..Un measurable. In other words as close to a perfect match as one would want. Take your time and follow all the instructions and you'll be a "Happy Camper"
