To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2014 Chevrolet Caprice, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. I have a 2014 Silverado with the color listed as blue granite metallic. When I put my year and paint code in no matches came up. I called your website and when I gave them my paint code it came up under 2013 all models. The color was listed as stealth grey metallic. I decided to give it a try and it was a perfect match. I used it to paint the front bumper plastic air deflector and bumper insert. Also ordered a paintable rear tailgate latch and painted that. For a spray can this stuff is awesome. Clear coated it with the spray max 2k and it looks great. Very happy
