CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2012 Chevrolet Equinox is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Tom M, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Harrison Township, MI

I believe this is the third time I have used Automotive Touch Up and it has been the third fantastic experience with them. The color match is always right on and the products are very high quality. Prior to locating Automotive Touch Up I was stuck going to the local auto parts store only to find find that the touch up paint they sold does not carry my color. I will never purchase touch up paint from anywhere else and I recommend them to any of my friends that need some touch up.

P Furtak, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Livonia

Excellent match! I had various spots needing touch up and they came out perfectly. I can't be happier.

Clifford G, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Blue Island, IL

I greatly appreciate the quality of paint. It was accurate and you can't tell the location of the scratch that I repaired. I'm glad to have found your web-site because no one else was able to match the color of the paint without giving me a very expensive bill.

Larry, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Florida

My Order came quickly. The touch up pen color matched perfectly. Application was easy. The scratch I repaired looks much better.

Ben J, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Philadelphia, PA

Ordered paint in a spray can, could not believe how well it matched my color also order a pint that also matched. We'll keep this site in my favorite.

Donald Z, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Bristol, CT

Bought the 3 oz. jars of paint first exact match but the job was bigger than it first appeared to be. So I went back on the web and ordered the spray cans which I have not used yet. Not rushing the repair because I want it to look good not just the same color.

William H, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Missoula, MT

The product worked well.

Richard D, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Colon, MI

When the weather warms up I will do the touch up. The order came in quick time and was packed very well. Thanks much.

Curtis S, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Grafton, WI

Color match was beautiful, this was the second time I ordered from this company and highly recommend them!

Jo F, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Bakersfield, CA

Walter W, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Himrod, NY

I am very pleased. You can't even tell where it was touched up. It matched perfectly. Walter

Geri S, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Huntley, IL

Used your touch up paint for a couple of small dings around the rear bumper area made by a shopping cart. The color match was spot on to our '12 Chevy Equinox with the optional red paint job. Excellent product and color matching.....

Geri S, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Huntley, IL

The color matched perfect. Thanks. Stay away from shopping carts.

Robert G, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Richland, WA

Nice transaction. Good product and price.

Johnny H, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Lenoir City, TN

Matched color exactly. Way to much paint though. I had a slight scratch about 4 in. long in a very unconspicus place. Needed to get some paint on it cause it was all the way through to metal. Over the years I have learned if you will touch up it tends to keep the place small enough you can live with it along time. If it goes unattended moisture and and such gets under the clear coat, and works on the metal. So I love the spray and I spray it in a plastic lid. Then use a tooth pick to apply. Then next day buff with lite rubbing compound and then car wax. It has worked for me for yrs. This paint was hard to find. It done the job for me. Just wish you would start selling a spray can about 4 in. high. I put this can in my house so it will last as long as I own car. Thanks for you prompt service.
