To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I was well pleased with the color match. I chose the pen applicator since the scratch was small. The pen has a hardened point where the paint is dispensed. I believe that a brush would have rendered a better result.The place where the scratch was now has a few small lumps which I could not resolve.
