CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2010 Chevrolet Colorado, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Click here for Chevy paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2010 Chevrolet Colorado is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Elated Customer, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado

Have a 2010 Colorado LT with painted bumpers front and rear. Living in the Midwest with salt... rust started bubbling from either edge of my rear. I bought 1 can of primer, 2 cans of factory basecoat Berry Red Metallic and 1 can of the good urethane clearcoat. The paint went on great, matched perfectly and covered extremely well. I was surprised how the metallic laid down evenly out of a spay can! The bumper looked better than factory even without wet sanding. It's not very often a company exceeds expectations. Great Job guys! Highly recommend this company for their products and service!

Robert P, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from North Haven, CT

Paint matched put 3-4 coats on, the clear 3 coats on.

Nick S, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Tell City, IN

Hello: the color was a right on match, but it was a bit messy trying to touch up where the bed of the truck was keyed. I might have to take it to a body shop to have that repaired.

Richard C, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Grand Rapids, MI

Have ordered spray and brush touch up from AT twice. Color match is excellent. They're my go to.

Barry S, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Fort Wayne, IN

Good paint. Good coverage. Good nozzle on the spray can. Well worth the cost.

Wiliam G, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Thompsontown, PA

Used your touchup last year on an old truck cap. Great job! This year made it look more professional. Thanks, Bill

Johnny S, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Sierra Vista, AZ

So Far very good the paint that I ordered was PERFECT match and went good. However I have another order which I haven't received yet, I will have to rate that one when it comes in.

Terry T, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Redwood City, CA

I've used their touch-up paints for my 2010 Colorado & 2012 Infiniti G37. The color match is perfect! I will (and have) continue to order from them as we get a new car.

Wiliam G, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Thompsontown, PA

I cut down a pick-up truck cap from a 1985 Toyota SR5 6' bed to fit a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado 5' bed. It was a weathered aluminum white. I got the primer, paint, and clear coat to match 517Q paint code ( Cardinal Red ). Looks really good, even if I say so myself. Thanks to you.

Tfickes, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from East Islip, NY

The paint on the side trim on both sides of my Colorado pickup was worn off. I assumed that was due to a poor spray job done at the factory, In any event, it did not look very good. Upon purchasing and using your product, I was very happy with the results. The color match was exact, and along with the clear coat finish, it came out perfect. I am very happy with the results, and will definitely recommend your web site to others. Thanks again. Sincerely, T. Fickes, Long Island, New York

Kelly W, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Canastota, NY

Excellent match.. I am very pleased with your product. I would not hesitate to purchase other products from you in the future. I purchased a aresol spray can of paint to fix up a couple of spots on my front bumper..love it!!! Thanks

Richard C, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado from Grand Rapids, MI

I had 2 large scratches on the hood of my truck from vandalism. The scratches were down to bare metal. I used a paint pen, merlot red which is also cardinal red metallic. Once cured, I used a clearcoat pen then after drying used 1500 grit wet paper and finally rubbing compound and wax. You cannot tell where the scratches were. Perfect match.
