CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Chevrolet Traverse, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2005 Chevrolet Traverse is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Betty M, owner of a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo from Fresno, CA

The paint covered the scratch perfectly - very pleased with the result.

Dennis L, owner of a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo from IL

So far everything is great color match is near perfect. My mechanic said he would have trouble finding the area. 3 coats of primer with light sanding between coats and so far 2 of the 5 coats planned for the base or color coat are down and that is fighting 90 percent humidity. 3000 grit wet sanding between color coats and a plan of 2 maybe 3 clear the last being 5000 grit wet sand and a blend to the surrounding area and call this job done. Next is a nordic white mini van with a pearl essence final clear and all material will be coming from right here. Excellent material fabulous color match great price how can you go wrong. Definitely recommend in the highest regard.
