CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Chevrolet HHR, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Products arrived as ordered in the time expected. Color match was perfect. I did find your videos helpful except for the clear coat work. I got the car sanded, primed and base coat (used all aerosol) applied properly. Sanded and cleaned to apply clear coat which did not come out well. Could have used a lot better info on how to finish the paint job. Had to sand and reapply again till I was satisfied. Clear coating and final polishing should be explained better for us DIYer who aren't familiar with the correct way to achieve a great finish. Your products were great and performed as advertised.
