To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2004 Chevrolet Suburban, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. 2004 Suburban Black. Painted end of rear quarter panels, where they meet the bumper. (both sides). To my surprise, I didn't have to paint the whole panel. I stopped painting as the panel curves from the back to the side of the car and stopped 1/2 way. Can't tell where the old/new paint meet. I did polish the whole panel to help the paint match. Awesome!!
