To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2004 Chevrolet Colorado, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. I ordered some aerosol touch up and clear for my "Yellow" 2004 Chevy Colorado pickup. I'd previously placed the same order with Scratch Wizard and was very disappointed! The color wasn't even a close match and their clear didn't spray on easily and never really got to a glossy finish. Yesterday I tried the paint and clear I received from you. I used the same prep process I did prior to using the Scratch Wizard product, the results however were like night and day. The color of your product was a perfect match and the clear went on easily. Order touch up paint for a used 2004 Chevy Colorado I just bought. I wasn't even sure the name of the color to my new truck. Kenny San Antonio, Florida, This is the third time I have used your paints, clear and other products on different autos. Every time the color matches perfectly, this time I used it on my 2004 Chevy Colorado pickup cobalt blue on the fender flares. They were installed at the Chevy dealership when I bought the truck new and the clear didn't hold up like the paint on the rest of the truck.
