CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

David J R, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Parma, OH

The paint I ordered matched my car 100%! Very good! Price & Shipping was a little pricey for 1 can of spray paint though.

James G, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Corry, PA

Great products, I have bought paint for 4 different vehicles and they all match perfectly. You get enough paint in one aerosol can that you paint half the car. Fast shipping and helpful staff since i had to call one time because the car I was matching was an old corvette and they found the color for me. If I need paint I am ordering from you.

Jim B, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Bayonne, NJ

Excellent match, quality product. Repair looks professional.

Richard F, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Dover, NJ

Tried touch up sticks from dealer. Wasn't happy with match. Touch up looked much better using your product. Thanks,

Vincent K, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Ridge, NY

Everything worked great the color matched exactly. Lost all my fear of trying to paint. Would definitely do it again.

Paul M, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Bay Minette, AL

I had some scratching in my paint from items being moved on and off the roof rack. The touch up paint and clear coat filled the bill perfectly.

Kenjamin M, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Dallas, TX

All I have to say is this stuff works perfectly. This is a do it yourself dream. I ordered the spray can and it coated nice and I can no longer see a difference.

Robert J, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Johnson City, TN

A great product, will be using you more in the near future.

Steve, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Boyertown, PA

I have always been fanatical about the appearance of my cars and I make an effort to touch up every nick and stone chip in the paint. I've been finding it more difficult to locate a great source of automotive touch-up paint, and when you do, it is very expensive and the color rarely matches. AutomotiveTouchUp is a great source to find the exact color you need. I have purchased 4 colors in the small touch-up bottles from them and they are all an excellent match.

Ted W, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Dingmans Ferry, PA

Great match and easy to work with, service was great.

AutomotiveTouchup, First, let me say thanks. The base-coat was a perfect color match. I also received some advice from your customer service department before I purchased the supplies. My project was to color match the side mirror covers and the chrome center bar of the grille on my 03 Trailblazer Ext LT. The mirror covers needed redoing after my botched first attempt. The mirror covers went well; sanded down, couple coats of adhesive producer, red primer, base-coat, and then clear coat. A few rounds of 1500 grit in between and they turned out much better that before. The chrome on the other hand was a bit more difficult. [plastic chrome should be sanded off or very well scuffed if this happens to you] I followed the same sequence as the mirror covers, but after the third coat of primer, it began to show cracks in multiple areas. I sanded down as much as possible in an attempt to smooth out the cracks, I then applied adhesive producer to those areas. I few more coats of primer and some progressive sanding and it looked better than good, but not great. I sprayed four coats of base-coat and four coats of clear coat. You can’t really see the cracks unless you’re right up next to it. With the prep work, dry time, and the little set back, it took about two and half days. Once again thanks. Everything I ordered were great products. Take care. Mike
