CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1993 Chevrolet Colorado, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1993 Chevrolet Colorado is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Anthony T, owner of a 1994 Chevrolet Caprice from Millstone Township, NJ

I've been repairing and restoring 1994-96 impala ss and caprices for 15 years, 67 to date...I recently replaced an entire lower rear inner and outer drivers quarter panel on a 95 Caprice 9C1 (police model) I always have a pro shop do the paint. I decided this time to paint it, in my own shop, using your spray cans. Real car guys/restorers would think this an amature move. Well,to everyone's surprise it came out fantastic and a pro shop would be hard pressed to have a better result. I only buy my automotive paints here. I can easily submit before during and after photos. Thank you

Kirk B, owner of a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban from Ft Collins, CO

What a great find online! The paint I ordered matches so well I have trouble finding the spots I covered with it. My vehicle is over 20 years old, and the paint is no longer available anywhere else that I have found. I have to wonder if you include an aging component when you mix the paint for older vehicles, since it matches so well. And your web page color display by vehicle model and year made selecting the right paint easy.
