To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1991 Chevrolet Full Pickup, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I tested the paint in a small area and at first it was not a complete match. I then shook the pen some more and carefully applied the paint to the scratched area. It turned out to blend in quite well. I waited @ 15 minutes to apply the clear coat. It looks very good.
