Restore Your 1988 Chevrolet Camaro Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Chevrolet's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1988 Chevrolet Camaro using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1988 Chevrolet Camaro is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Keith S, owner of a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro from Norwich, CT

My wife scuffed the garage door while pulling her camaro in and took the paint off the driver side nose in and i was able to fix it like it never happened with your paint. It matched really well , people cant believe that i did it with a spry can . This is the second job i did like this on 2 different cars. Another job well done thank you.

GeneOB, owner of a 1987 Chevrolet Corvette from Monroe, NY

Website has excellent documentation and instructions to guide a beginner through the process. My car is 29 years old and has probably been repainted so the match was tough but it looks a lot better than before I started.

James P, owner of a 1987 Chevrolet Corvette from Mattituck, NY

Excellent product. I've used these paints on company work vehicles. This past order was for my own cars. I've only used the one color so far. The match is pretty close. I say that because the car is called medium gray metallic. Kind of like a silver gray. I was out in the sun for a few months without a cover and I'm sure it faded the color. Otherwise it's very close. I am going to buy this product again for another vehicle.
