To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1987 Chevrolet Blazer, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Aerosol paint color match was right on, aerosol top coat was excellent. As far as the touchup pens , the color match didn't quite match for the base coat, and the top coat pen leaked too much paint when even depressed lightly.
