CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1970 Chevrolet Camaro, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1970 Chevrolet Camaro is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Leon M, owner of a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro from Oregon City, OR

Was concerned about getting a paint match on a somewhat rare color for 1970. My Camaro came with original Hugger Orange paint code and had been repainted about 6 years ago; (before my ownership). A previous paint touchup source DID NOT match even close, but yours was dead on. My car is a driver, not a museum piece so it had a collection of road chips and scars. I am not a painter by any means, but your product worked great. Thanks!

Rick B, owner of a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro from Franklin, TN

Great product! My 1970 Camaro was repainted 4 years ago and needed some touch up. Luckily, I had paint code and your paint was a perfect match. It also sprays well. Thanks

Scott S, owner of a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro from Port Saint Lucie, FL

Paint code was perfect match for my door inserts- Thanks!

George G, owner of a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro from Venice, FL

I purchased the Inferno Orange Metallic for my 1970 Camaro Z28. I was concerned that the paint would not match since I painted the car about three years ago. It matched perfectly. I bought the touch up paint in the bottle and some clear coat. I will purchase the Aerosol spray paint down the road. Skip from the company also e mailed me back before the product was sent out, just in case it was the wrong color. Very professional company. They are a "10" in my book.
