Restore Your Chevrolet Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Chevrolet's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1945 Chevrolet All Models using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1945 Chevrolet All Models is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

David C, owner of a 1968 Chevrolet from Channahon, IL

Didn't think I could get touch up paint for a 49 yr old car. Did some research and low and behold you guys did and I'm so glad I bought from you. It's a perfect match. Great job guys!!!

Jarrod C, owner of a 1969 Chevrolet from Amarillo, TX

Well, to be 100% honest with you, I purchased these cans of Touchup paint to use on model cars while I make my mind up which color my next real Chevelle should be. I was very impressed with the quality and controllability of the paint as it came out of the aerosol cans. It’s not often you can use a spray can and achieve consistent “control” over the application rate and pattern - your products went down perfectly. The only thing better than the paint itself was the process of matching the period correct color on your site. There are so many different codes and names for each shade it can be intimidating to try to find what your eye knows it wants. Your site is easily the most practical, efficient, and accurate way I have found to match period correct codes. All in all I have been very impressed and will be back for another round of science projects soon. - Jarrod
