To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2017 Cadillac (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Here is what I don't like is doing reviews, when I buy something at a store, they don't ask me what I think about the products. I have made purchases 4 time I must be good with the paint. Ordered 140x cadillac Tricoat white. There is a noticeable lack of good quality help video for this tricoat paint by your company. After three tries I did get a satisfactory job done of spraying and blending. I did do a spray out card and got a pretty fair color match. Did have a problem with the spray can I mid coat sputtering an leaving some unsightly “ blobs”. Overall pretty pleased with your product. Used your white primer, base coat, mid coat, and clear coat.
