To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 Cadillac Escalade ESV, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. I have a 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon. Recently the rear bumper was damaged when a trailer being pulled came loose. Estimates from local body shops ranged from $800-$900 to repair and repaint. The high cost I was told was due to the bumper having to be removed and the Diamond Tri-Coat process. I decided to give the repair a try myself. I ordered the Tri-Coat paint from Automotive Touch up. While waiting for the paint to arrive I applied the filler and primer as needed. This morning following the provided instructions I painted the rear bumper with the paint and it turned out beautiful.
